Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a scientifically proven method for achieving permanent hair removal, recognized as the sole solution approved by both the FDA and the AMA. During the procedure, a fine needle or probe is delicately inserted into each hair follicle’s opening beneath the skin, where a precise electrical or chemical current is applied to disable the follicle and prevent future hair growth. This technique is effective for removing hair of any color or thickness from almost any part of the body, except inside the ears and nose where visibility is limited. Unlike laser hair removal, which targets pigment, electrolysis can be performed on individuals of all skin colors and hair types.
Although mild discomfort may be experienced, many clients find it manageable and opt to use topical numbing agents for enhanced comfort.
